NZRIA retail Consenting and Compliance

In early March 2024, the New Zealand Retail Interiors Association (NZRIA) invited the Farsight NZ team to share their insights into the world of retail consenting and compliance.
Hosted at the beautiful Tailor Inc. offices in Auckland CBD, the evening was filled with an informative and collaborative presentation that covered a variety of topics including:
- Building Consent Authorities – What do they do?
- What type of Approval do you need?
- What do you need for a successful application?
- CPU, CCC, and compliance closeout.
With the NZRIA being a network for architects, designers, contractors, and many more, this was a great occasion to foster connections with like-minded industry partners. Despite being a retail driven presentation, audience interaction from all areas of the industry allowed us to cover many topics that expand beyond retail, from planning permissions to specified systems.
Building on the positive experiences from this event, the Farsight NZ team look forward to becoming members of the NZRIA and expanding our presence in the retail sector.
